Welcome..I'm so glad you've taken the time to peruse my blog! First off, I just want to say, I don't actually dream about Martha Stewart (well there was that one time), I'm just an admirer of what she seems to stand for and the lifestyle she promotes. She is at the pinnacle of all {good things}. Ever since I was young I loved watching her show and I subscribed to her magazine (which was much, much thicker back then, but I digress). I love crafts and baking..visiting antique shops and bakeries, eating out at restaurants with amazing food, hosting afternoon tea with friends..... I dream of having that so-called "perfect" life surrounded by wonderful things. What she represents is everything I love. I made this blog to further unleash my creative side (how dramatic) and force myself to create, do, and chronicle the things that I love to do. I'm an accountant (or to use a more precise term, bean counter), not a very fulfilling job for someone creative (though i'm certain the accountants at Enron would disagree.. :) ). I'm hoping this blog will be an encouragement to fulfill that side of me and I want to share it with all of you!
I've honestly been a bit down in the dumps for quite a while now, like some of you may have experienced at one time or another in your life, I need to spark some sort of change. . . .I hope I can contribute different things every week and add something {good} to everyone's life...and so, let's begin!
